Here you will find links and flyers to areas of support for our families.  We also have links to the Food Bank, Uniform Bank and other agencies that can help our families if they are struggling.

Cost of living support

If you’re struggling to pay for food and other essentials, there are local schemes and organisations in North Yorkshire which may be able to help or point you in the right direction. You’ll find information about emergency financial support, managing debt, benefit entitlement, energy bills and staying connected all in one place on the North Yorkshire Cost of Living Support webpage.  Further information is available on our Cost of Living Support Parent Factsheet.

Worried about your child?

Do you know that you can refer yourself and/or your child without having to go through school. This self-referral process can be used by families at any point of the year, for a range of reasons, particularly if you have concerns for behaviours or concerns in your home and you would prefer to speak to the external agencies first before involving school.  Please click here for more details.

Healthy Child

Health Professionals visit our children during the school year to check height, weight, growth and teeth of our Reception and Year 6 children, with parent’s permission.  They also visit to complete a hearing test in Year 1 and flu vaccinations for the year groups assigned nationally by the government. Click here to find out more about the core offer from the Healthy Child Team and support with your child’s health.
