St John the Baptist Church serves West Haddlesey, Chapel Haddlesey, Temple Hirst, Hirst Courtney and West Bank and services are held regularly, the details of which can be found on the link below. The Priest-in-Charge, Mark Poskitt, is one of our Foundation Governors in the federation.

The Parish of St Wilfrid’s, Brayton includes the villages of Barlow, Burn, Thorpe Willoughby and south west Selby. The Church has a busy calendar with lots of services, coffee mornings and community events which are available to view on its website. They also produce a monthly magazine.
We look forward to regular visits from the church’s “Open the Book” team, who really make the stories in the Bible come alive! Once a month, we welcome into school a team of Church volunteers who run a programme called ‘Open the Book’. The volunteers retell bible stories, focusing on Christian values, through drama and singing. Each session, different pupils are selected to take on a role in the scene and dress up in simple costume, reading simple lines. The audience really do enjoy these stories which help to reinforce our teaching about Christian values.
